TANZ is the art form in which human movement becomes the medium for sensing, understanding, and communicating ideas, feelings, and experiences. TANZ provides a way of learning-one that develops communication abilities, problem solving techniques, and creative and critcal thinking skills along with kinesthetic abilities. At its core, TANZ is artistic experience through the processes of creation, performance and response.
TANZ has its own content, vocabulary, skills and techniques. The elements of TANZ are the foundational concepts and vocabulary for developing movement skills as well as understanding tanz as an art form. All these elements are simultaneously present in a TANZ or even in a short movement phrase.
TANZ can be fun and creative but it can also be seductive or emotional. All cultures use TANZ for various things some tell stories, One of the most visual and emotional and hardest TANZ styles to learn is the ancient indian bharat natyam and Kathak. Derived from southern india, the dancers learn from an early age and they use their hands, eyes and heads as well as the rest of their bodies to TANZ and tell stories,
TANZ can make people laugh. It always gets people to TANZ and act silly and laugh. Or you get other TANZ like macarana that always pulls people together even strangers. TANZ is a very powerful tool in provoking emotions and memories in people.
